The major focus of TENT is to equip Christian workers to communicate the love of God and disciple the people of India. Based on the Biblical teaching, we equip our trainees to minister to and disciple the believers to in Biblically sound and culturally appropriate ways. As Mathew recorded, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations.”
GROUP APPROACH
The major focus of TENT is to equip Christian workers to share the love of God and disciple the People. Researchers and Social Scientists classified the people into several groups. And based on the Great Commission, we equip our trainees to minister to and disciple believers to form fellowship groups among these groups in Biblically sound and culturally appropriate ways. As Mathew recorded, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations.”
RESEARCH
The Master Trainers are trained in cultural anthropology, communication, and socio-cultural research so that they will be able to communicate the good news of Jesus Christ. They will conduct a two-month field research among the people they choose, under the guidance of their ministry leader and TENT faculty. The Master Trainers also engage in a socio-economic and market feasibility research to adopt the technologies they have learnt.
Strategic Action Plan
By the end of the training, which includes classroom learning and field research, the Master Trainers will envision a Strategic Action Plan (SAP). The SAP consists of the cultural characteristics of selected people groups, effective communication methods to unreached people groups, their plan to disciple people and train the local grassroots level leaders, and viable income generation technologies.
