HDT (Holistic Development Training)

TENT Ministry believes in the Gospel presentation, with the emphasis on holistic development. This program is particularly given to the women believers from the grassroots level. Those women who know the Lord as their savior and are committed to missions are selected by any ministry to bring them for this training at TENT Training Center. Since the course is given in English, we expect the ministry to send a translator along with that. The course is for four weeks, with emphasis on practical training, in the workshops and the field. They also have an opportunity to interact with Self Help Groups. Self Help Groups are the groups of women in the villages who make up micro savings for getting loans. In the course, the models of women who serve the Lord, both from the Bible and from the Christian world, are given as examples. As a follow up of this training, Outreach Department visits us, and in cases where the group is well organized in carrying on the work, will be given seed money as a matching grant.
