TENT (Training in Evangelism Needs and Technology) is an indigenous ministry founded in 1985 to equip grassroots workers with a two fold emphasis:
1. Cross-cultural communication of the gospel.
2. Use of contextual technology for income generation.
Joined with people group research, this is TENT’s strategy for reaching the more than 4000 unreached people groups of India.
TENT has three major training programs:
Tentmaker's Training
A two to four week intensive training course in gospel communication skills and simple technologies for pastors and evangelists who desire to be tentmakers.

Joshua Vision India
Master Trainer Orientation: A one year orientation program for theologically trained men, deputed by churches and mission organizations, who in turn train the Harvesters in communication skills and simple contextual technologies in order to reach the more than 4000 unreached people groups in India.

Master Trainer Orientation: A six month version of the JVI Master Trainer Orientation for Women.
Harvester Orientation: A one month orientation for grassroots level women workers. This training focuses on simple contextual technology and self-help groups.
